-This assignment was intended to help create an organizer I could use in my future career of becoming an elementary school teacher. I intend to use this diagram when I am teaching Kindergartners the parts of speech. This lesson pertains to the understanding of the parts of speech, intended for forth grade students. The state standard that demonstrates the proficiency in this lesson is Standard CC.1.4.4.L in writing. Students are expected to demonstrate a grade-appropriate command of the conventions of standard English grammar, usage, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. This pertains to the organization of the students sentences as well as the clarity. I made this organizer so students are able to follow each parts of speech with a definition and examples.
